Our Services and How GoPlaces.club Works

Service Description

GoPlaces.club is a platform where people can discover destination groups, join discussions, meet like-minded members, and explore ideas for activities, outings, weekend trips, and travel experiences.

Members can:

• Create their own groups
• Connect with other members
• Discuss destinations and activities

The purpose of GoPlaces.club is to help people turn shared interests into real-world experiences.

Sophie AI

Sophie is GoPlaces.club's AI assistant.

Sophie helps members:

• Create profiles
• Discover relevant groups
• Introduce themselves to other members
• Facilitate group conversations
• Suggest discussion topics
• Summarize conversations
• Help groups compare ideas and destinations

Sophie may assist members in exploring possibilities, but all decisions remain entirely with the members.

Sophie does not organize trips, make bookings, collect payments, arrange transportation, coordinate itineraries, or manage events.

Community-Led Groups

Groups on GoPlaces.club are created and organized by members.

Members decide for themselves:

• Whether to join a group
• Whether to communicate with other members
• Whether to meet in person
• Where to go
• What activities to do
• Whether to organize a trip or outing

Any activity, meetup, gathering, outing, or trip discussed through the platform is organized entirely by the members involved.

Facilitation Only

GoPlaces.club provides communication and discovery tools.

Our role is limited to helping people find groups, connect with other members, and discuss ideas.

We do not:

• Organize trips
• Operate tours
• Coordinate travel
• Arrange accommodations
• Book transportation
• Sell travel packages
• Manage events
• Supervise meetups
• Guarantee attendance

Any real-world activity, meetup, trip, outing, or travel experience is arranged independently by the participating members.

Best-Effort Service

We aim to help members discover interesting groups and connect with people who share similar interests.

However, we cannot guarantee:

• That a suitable group will exist for every member
• That a group will remain active
• That members will respond
• That a meetup or trip will occur
• That participants will be compatible
• That any particular outcome will result from using the Service

Some groups may be inactive, some plans may never happen, and some members may not be a good fit for one another.

By using the Service, you acknowledge and accept these limitations.

What The Service Is Not

GoPlaces.club is not:

• A travel agency
• A tour operator
• An event organizer
• A transportation provider
• An accommodation provider
• An employment service
• A professional networking service

AI Disclaimer

Our AI assistant is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.

Sophie is not a human and is not a licensed therapist, counselor, coach, travel advisor, lawyer, financial advisor, or medical professional.

Information generated by Sophie may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or inappropriate for your situation.

You should always use your own judgment when deciding whether to communicate with, meet, travel with, or otherwise interact with other members.

User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• Your interactions with other members
• Any decisions to meet in person
• Any travel arrangements you make
• Any purchases, bookings, or reservations
• Any activities you participate in
• Your personal safety and wellbeing

Always use caution when interacting with people you meet online.

No Background Checks

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, GoPlaces.club does not conduct comprehensive identity verification, criminal background checks, or screening on every member.

We make no guarantees regarding the identity, honesty, conduct, or intentions of any user.

You interact with other members at your own risk.

Emergency Situations

Do not use GoPlaces.club or Sophie AI for emergencies.

If you are experiencing a medical, mental health, safety, or other emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.

Application of This Agreement

PLEASE READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY.

These Terms govern your access to and use of GoPlaces.club and apply to all visitors, members, and users of the Service.

By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, clicking any "I Accept," "Join," or similar button, downloading our app, or otherwise using any part of the Service, you represent and agree that:

• You understand that any decision to communicate with, meet, travel with, or participate in activities with other members is made solely by you and at your own risk.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

SECTION 15 OF THESE TERMS CONTAINS IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT HOW DISPUTES BETWEEN YOU AND GOPLACES.CLUB WILL BE RESOLVED.

Except where prohibited by law, disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration rather than court proceedings. Section 15 also contains a waiver of class actions and jury trials.

Text Messages and Communications

If you choose to receive text messages, notifications, emails, or other communications from GoPlaces.club, additional terms relating to those communications may apply.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and service provider.

Any meetup, outing, activity, or trip discussed through the Service is organized independently by the participating members.

1.2 Availability

The Service may only be available in certain countries, regions, or locations. We reserve the right to expand, limit, suspend, or discontinue availability of the Service at any time without notice.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, GoPlaces.club does not conduct comprehensive identity verification, criminal background checks, or screening on all members.

Never send money, banking information, passwords, government identification numbers, or other sensitive information to another user.

1.6 Sharing Contact Information

Members may choose whether and when to exchange personal contact information with one another.

However, you do so entirely at your own risk.

GoPlaces.club is not responsible for communications, interactions, or relationships that occur outside the platform.

1.7 No Guarantees

We do not guarantee:

• That you will find a suitable group
• That other members will respond
• That a group will remain active
• That a meetup, outing, or trip will occur
• That members will be compatible
• That you will make friends, find travel companions, or achieve any specific outcome

The Service is intended to facilitate discovery and communication. Outcomes depend entirely on the choices and actions of members.

GoPlaces.club is not responsible for the conduct, actions, statements, or behavior of any user, whether online or offline.

1.8 Sophie AI

The Service may include AI-powered features and assistants, including Sophie AI.

Sophie may help members:

• Complete profiles
• Discover relevant groups
• Introduce themselves to other members
• Facilitate discussions
• Summarize conversations
• Explore destinations and activity ideas

Sophie is provided solely as an informational and communication tool.

Sophie does not:

• Organize trips
• Coordinate activities
• Make bookings
• Arrange transportation
• Manage events
• Provide professional advice
• Verify the identity or suitability of any member

Information generated by Sophie may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or inappropriate for your specific circumstances.

You are solely responsible for evaluating and relying on any information generated by the AI.

1.9 App License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, GoPlaces.club grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App solely for your personal use.

1.10 Supplemental Terms

Certain features or services may be subject to additional terms, guidelines, or policies ("Supplemental Terms").

Where Supplemental Terms apply, they will be presented to you before you use the applicable feature or service.

1.11 Service Updates

We may modify, update, improve, suspend, or discontinue any portion of the Service at any time.

You may be required to install updates to continue using certain features.

1.12 Communications and Text Messages

If you choose to receive text messages, notifications, emails, or other communications from GoPlaces.club, you consent to receiving communications related to your account, groups, activities, Service updates, and promotional content.

GoPlaces.club is not responsible for delayed, failed, or undelivered messages caused by mobile carriers, internet providers, device settings, or third-party communication services.

4. Ownership and Intellectual Property

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, GoPlaces.club does not conduct comprehensive criminal background checks, identity verification, or screening on every member.

Even when safety measures are used, no screening process is perfect.

You acknowledge that your interactions with other members occur at your own risk.

7. Third-Party Services

7.1 Interactions with Other Users

The Service helps members discover and communicate with one another.

However, GoPlaces.club is not responsible for interactions, communications, agreements, disputes, activities, meetups, trips, or relationships between users.

Any arrangements made between members are solely their responsibility.

7.2 Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, products, applications, booking platforms, travel services, maps, payment providers, AI providers, or other services.

These third-party services are not owned or controlled by GoPlaces.club.

We are not responsible for:

• Their content
• Their availability
• Their privacy practices
• Their products or services
• Any transactions you enter into with them

Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.

7.3 App Stores

If you download the App through Apple App Store, Google Play, or another app marketplace, your use of the App may also be subject to the terms and conditions of that marketplace.

7.4 Third-Party Integrations

The Service may integrate with third-party providers to support features such as authentication, payments, maps, messaging, AI services, analytics, or notifications.

GoPlaces.club is not responsible for interruptions, failures, or issues caused by those third-party providers.

8. Fees, Memberships, and Payments

By making a purchase, you authorize our payment providers to charge the payment method you provide for the applicable fees, taxes, and charges.

We do not control, supervise, verify, or guarantee the conduct of any member.

You are solely responsible for your communications, decisions, activities, travel arrangements, meetups, outings, and interactions with other users.

Any decision to meet another member, participate in an activity, travel, or attend an event is made entirely at your own risk.

10.3 AI Features

Any AI-powered features are provided for informational purposes only.

AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, outdated information, or inappropriate suggestions.

You are solely responsible for evaluating and relying upon any information generated by AI features.

10.4 No Travel, Event, or Activity Guarantees

GoPlaces.club does not organize, operate, supervise, coordinate, or guarantee any activity, meetup, outing, event, or trip discussed through the Service.

Members independently make their own plans and arrangements.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

GoPlaces.club and its affiliates, officers, employees, partners, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the Service
• Your inability to use the Service
• Content posted by users
• Interactions with other users
• Activities, outings, meetups, or trips arranged by members
• AI-generated content
• Third-party services

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount paid by you to GoPlaces.club during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim; or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

12. Intellectual Property Claims

If you believe that material available through the Service infringes your copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights, please contact us and provide:

• Identification of the work being infringed
• Identification of the allegedly infringing material
• Your contact information
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized
• A statement under penalty of perjury that your claim is accurate
