Delete your account

In the app

• Open Profile and scroll to the bottom.
• Tap Delete my account and confirm.
• You are signed out on every device at once.

By email

Write to help@goplaces.club from the email address you sign in with and ask us to delete your account. We delete it and confirm by email.

What is deleted

• Your email address, name, photos, bio and the answers you gave
• Your ideas, likes and invites
• Your chat with GoPlaces AI and what it learned about you
• Profile views, notifications and the devices we send them to

What stays

• Messages you sent in group chats stay in those chats, shown as from a deleted user, so the conversation still makes sense to the people in it.
• Payment records we must keep by law, for as long as the law requires.

Memberships

A membership bought on our website is cancelled when you delete your account. A subscription bought in the iPhone app is managed by Apple: cancel it in Settings, your name, Subscriptions.
